Clash in Parliament between Bido and Muç, MP from the Together Movement:
Muçi and Bido

The protests that have been taking place in the country for 11 days have also dominated the debate in this Thursday's plenary session, where there were no shortage of clashes between deputies.

Socialist Party MP Ardit Bido addressed the opposition in ironic tones, accusing it of not reacting when the protests began on May 30.

"It hurts me as I see the slogans that the DP remembered to adopt today, I have only one question: on May 30th, why didn't you speak? Why were you silent? Why don't you speak today about oligopoly markets that harm this country?", declared Bido from the Parliament podium.

His statement brought the immediate reaction of the Joint Movement MP, Redi Muçi, who personally attacked his socialist colleague, accusing him of continuous political moves in his career.

"Life goes neck to neck... so too has comrade Bido's political career gone from one neck to another. The comedy is that he chose to jump on Rama's neck now that he is coming to an end. I really hope that for Bido's sake this will be Bido's last neck, because his life has really gone neck to neck," said Muçi.
