Part of a criminal drug group, the 26-year-old is arrested in Tirana; extradition to Italy is expected

A 26-year-old man from Tirana was put in handcuffs this morning in the capital, as he is suspected of being part of a criminal drug group operating in Italy.

According to the police, the services of Police Commissariat No. 2, in a bar on "Medar Shtylla" street, they located and detained citizen Arman Alla, 26 years old, resident of Tirana.

This citizen was declared internationally wanted, after the Court of Turin, Italy, with the decision dated 14.05.2021, assigned the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offense "Participation in a criminal group for the purpose of drug trafficking", provided from the Italian Criminal Code.

Interpol Tirana, in cooperation with Interpol Rome, continues the procedures for the extradition of this citizen to Italy.
