Although she will leave Albania, at the end of her term as US ambassador, Yuri Kim does not seem to be leaving our country.
At the last press conference, the American diplomat said that the new task also includes our country.
"In the next position, I will have responsibility for the whole of Europe and this includes Albania, and I am satisfied with this, maybe not everyone is satisfied with this, but I am.
As I said, I have been touched and changed during my stay here. And whether I return to Albania or not, Albania will always be with me." said the American diplomat.
We remind you that the American ambassador in Tirana, Yuri Kim, has been appointed deputy assistant principal secretary for European Affairs. This is the most important task in DASH after the Secretary of State. The diplomat will officially assume her new position from July 10. Kim is at the end of her term as ambassador in Tirana and is expected to be replaced by David Kostelançik.
