The first news emanating from the closed-door assembly of the SP, speak of the prime minister's strong criticism of the mayor of Tirana. The reason for the strike of Erion Veliaj is the analysis of the work in the district of Tirana, which is chaired by Veliaj. Convinced that his immense financial and political power could be shaken by the investigation into the scandalous abuses of the Tirana incinerator that make Veliaj increasingly responsible for the evaporated money, a good number of socialist elephants have bet on the west of the mayor's star and Rama's negative sign against him is interpreted as a sign that Rama is selling him for the account of SPAK, just like he did with Ahmetaj, Bllak or Koka.
A second source within the meeting, contacted by Lapsi.al, relativized these facts a bit. With an SMS from inside the meeting, he considered the debates as "ordinary party bureaucracy" without any symbolism in shifting political balances.
