The President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Muhammed Bin Zayed, arrived yesterday evening in Tirana, where he was welcomed by Prime Minister Edi Rama at "Mother Teresa" Airport.
Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed's visit to Albania came after he concluded a state visit to Turkey on Wednesday.
"Good morning, and with the arrival last night in Albania of an old and dear friend of the Albanian people, here and there in the mountains, I wish you a good day," Rama wrote alongside the photos.
The focus of the meeting was reportedly the growing partnership between the countries, and emphasis was placed on efforts to advance relations in key sectors such as the economy, trade, renewable energy, food security, and technology.
Meanwhile, it is learned that during the meeting, Rama awarded Sheikh Mohammed the Benemerenti medal , as a sign of gratitude to the President of the United Arab Emirates.
