The head of the 'Together Movement', Arlind Qori, said that Albanian agriculture is among the most underfunded.
He emphasized that most of the funds allocated to agriculture go to administration.
"Albania has a very problematic economic structure. Many of our fellow citizens are more or less self-employed.
They produce something small, sell it and survive. If we take the figures of those employed in agriculture, we have among the highest figures.
32% of the workforce is in agriculture. But these are not workers on large agricultural farms, the vast majority of them are peasants who produce something small and put it on the market and survive on it.
With these measures that the government will take, I don't know what it will do. Will it bankrupt these people too?
Do you want those who have remained in the village to leave the village too? If we look at the problem even more broadly, Albanian agriculture is one of the most underfunded, undersubsidized, and poorly financed.
"Most of the funds given to agriculture in Albania go to the administration," Qori told "Ora News".
