EU accession process, Rama's ultimatum to MPs: Monthly information meetings

Prime Minister Edi Rama held a meeting with the Socialist Party Parliamentary Group, where the focus was on Albania's integration into the EU.

Rama emphasized that all members of the Socialist Party Parliamentary Group should be kept informed about the process of Albania's EU membership negotiations.

Rama also warned that such meetings with Socialist MPs like today's will be held every month, with the aim of exchanging more information.

"This is the part related to the phase before the conclusion of the negotiation on any text. Much more work is needed to explain with the group and to hear from the group. More mutual information is needed, since all MPs can contribute to a drafting process.
So this today's format, which is a necessary format for the future, of course not with all of today's workload, but with specific points and with a point that is always common for the negotiation process for the drafts that are in process, for the drafts that come later, we will develop every month", said Rama, among other things.
