Democratic leader Sali Bertisha spoke in superlatives about the May 8 protest, describing it as a hurricane of freedom that has shaken Edi Rama's narco-regime.
Berisha said that this protest had an extraordinary echo in the world media.
" The just cause of protest of tens of thousands of citizens who, on a day of heavy rain, with extraordinary courage in the face of unprecedented state and media terror, filled the Martyrs of the Nation Boulevard to express their revolt against the illegal government of Tirana, against Edi Rama who turned the elections into an electoral farce.
"This hurricane, which the government media presented as a gathering of 100 people or a few thousand in the most generous ones, shocked not only the regime, but also the entire world ," Berisha said.
He continued by saying that this protest is being carried out because the courageous protesters have a just cause, fighting a regime that has stolen from them and protects its thefts.
"This is why the media of the civilized world have welcomed this protest, this revolt, this peaceful uprising," he said,
While considering the police reaction as an animalistic, barbaric and primitive attitude, Berisha said that it revealed to the world the true face of Edi Rama's narco-state.
