The Vice-President of the Investigative Commission for Public Sterilization Services and Health Check-up, Plarent Ndreca, said that the investigations should extend to the period of 2009.
He emphasizes that they must have information before the conclusion of the contract, at the time of conclusion and after the contract.
"We believe that the sterilization contract should be investigated in the entire preliminary context of this contract. The Commission must have complete information by the time the contract is signed. The contract was signed in October 2009. So we think the whole panorama should be evaluated. To have information before the conclusion of the contract, at the moment of the conclusion and after the conclusion of the contract" , declared Ndreca.
Such a request has been opposed by the opposition. Deputy Edmond Spaho has stated that the object of the commission is the investigation of two contracts drawn up, approved and implemented by the government since 2014, and the search beyond this year would bring the commission's work to a dead end.
"This worthless discussion, to waste the working time of this commission. We as the opposition want to investigate two contracts drafted, approved and implemented by the left government after 2013. And to start asking before that is to put the commission's work in a dead end. Second, if you are interested in this matter, set up a commission and investigate whatever you want. But in the facility, we have two contracts from 2014 onwards. Thirdly, and from a technical point of view, the issue you are talking about has nothing to do with the investigation. The case they want us to investigate is a concessionary contract. And recently, there have been such clashes before ," said Spaho.
