On December 18, the Council for the Regulation of Mandates and Immunity will meet to consider the request of SPAK for the arrest of Sali Berisha.
One of the MPs of the SP who is part of the Council of Mandates, Klotilda Bushka, during an interview, said that the SP will vote in favor of SPAK's request, since the majority aims to support justice.
"In principle, we, as the majority, are in favor of the demands of the justice bodies, which are independent. Two results are very visible, the first is that they won the appointments in the meritocracy system. EU does deep verification. Appointments in all justice bodies, i.e. meritocracy and independence in the appointment of those in the justice system have been achieved.
The Regulation and Mandates Council acts and is not influenced by any parallel decision. What I wanted to say is that we do not talk about specific cases, but believing in the new justice and accepting that maybe it is not perfect, two things are important to say. We have a completely independent system, a system that must be produced with its own actions and decisions", she said in "Report Tv".
Among the smokers, the SP approved in the Assembly the new regulation which excludes for 2 months the deputies who cause chaos in the Assembly. Bushka underlined that such sanctions against MPs happen everywhere in the world.
According to Bushka, the chaos of Reestablishment is related to Sali Berisha's problems with justice.
"With violence and these whims, things are not resolved. Whims and violence are for actions that are taken for the situation in which Berisha is. Every individual who faces justice has his own right to find ways to defend himself. The right wing in these cases becomes the lawyer, but in this case the lawyer has become the party. Berisha's plight was transferred to the PD crisis and to the Assembly," she added.
"When the opposition has constructive suggestions, we take them into account. The right to set up investigative commissions must be conditioned by some constitutional goals. They are problematic related to the inconsistency of constitutional criteria. So the requests must come according to the constitutional goals. If they do not agree to go to the constitutional court, there is another mechanism that solves it", said Bushka.
She made an appeal to the opposition, to which she called to give up the chaos and sit down for discussions about important issues.
"The behavior of the opposition is unacceptable. They must return to the dialogue path an hour ago and save themselves. These scenes should be left behind because they are embarrassing. Let's sit down and discuss. Electoral reform is very important, some colleagues have been appointed and should be replaced, but this commission is a political process. It must be inclusive, it must be a process where the parties are involved. They chose us to serve the citizens", she added
There was also a comment about Albania's agreement with Italy on refugee housing.
"It is one of those protocols that also serves to strengthen neighborhood relations with the EU. It is an act of humanity that serves Albania in two aspects. Helpful in emigration and to show that Albania is not a country that sits on the sidelines. From the legal point of view, it has been best respected. We reviewed it in the laws committee. Territorial integrity is not violated. The Constitutional Court has the right to consider the request before it goes to the Assembly. We have suspended the ratification procedure while waiting for the examination of the request until the Court pronounces a decision. After the decision, we will act. It is in Albania's interest that this matter is not delayed," concluded Bushka.
