Rama is forced to take the floor after technical problems with the Live connection....
The Socialist Party has officially launched its electoral campaign. Although it said it would gather on Saturday at 12:00, Edi Rama decided to hold an activity just before the DP rally.
Rama gathered the women of the Socialist Party at the Opera and Ballet Theater, as the plan was to have direct connections with the 12 regions of the country, as well as with women from the diaspora.
But this scenario seems not to have gone well. After 2-3 connections, there were problems and Edi Rama was forced to take the floor early, as he was expected to speak at the end, at about the same time as Sali Berisha. Rama said that on May 12, Albania will wake up covered in pink.
" Between the two sides, I always choose the first, mothers, daughters and sisters. Today, on the day the gong of the election campaign falls, we cannot start this stage except with women and girls. They deserve to be called the commandos of our victorious army that coordinate the activities of all units of the squad not only inside, but also outside Albania. That flag that you have embroidered zone by zone, unit by unit, will cover the entire electoral map of May 11. On the morning of May 12, Albania will rise covered in pink, which is the color of women and girls, but also the color of the SP ", said Rama.
He then attacked the opposition, recalling its accusations that Rama won because of his links to crime. Rama continued by saying that only the Socialist Party has fought crime and corruption.
" I say to those who have been playing the flute for many years in the same hole, that this party has the support of crime, therefore it is invincible, and this is said by people who have killed on the boulevard with state guns or those who have anger as their motive for waking up in the morning. No one has ever fought corruption like we have done, and secondly, let them continue to play that flute ," he said.
Rama continued his attacks on the primaries. He also ironically commented on the fact that Berisha left out the most voted candidate in the primaries in Tirana, Hysen Kadiu.
" He has returned as an opener of doors that have not been opened for years, from Kamza to Shkodra, with victories and now in Kavaja. I can't wait to see what will come out on May 11, especially in the conditions when the swamp swallowed Kavaja right in the depths of its intestines, including the winner of the primaries of all of Tirana.
