Journalist Arion Sulo has criticized the humorous clashes between Prime Minister Edi Rama and Lulzim Basha on social networks, describing them as excessive and frivolous.
According to Sulo, although Basha's strategy to attract attention can be understood, the way Rama is involved in these debates is unacceptable for a prime minister.
" They're both ridiculous, they're becoming ridiculous. I would understand Basha, but this other one that we have as prime minister and he acts like a neighborhood boy who smokes hashish on the corner of the palace and sings hip-hop, I don't understand that ," he said.
Sulo considered the way Rama uses videos, memes, and jokes on social media unusual, comparing it to the behavior of influencers more than that of a state leader.
" There is no prime minister in the world who makes these videos, diss, memes, call it whatever you want. This one is now a politician and does these things ," he said when invited to the "Open" show on News24.
