The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has commented on the statements made the day before by Prime Minister Edi Rama, who came to the defense of Mirlinda Karçanaj, the former director of the National Agency for the Information Society (AKSHI).
During the DP parliamentary group meeting, Berisha accused Rama of having lost all moral standards.
"He is trampling on the future of Albanians, forcing our partners to stop all aid to Albania, because there is no prime minister like him in the countries that claim to move towards the EU who can take such measures."
"He has lost all morals. He bowed down like a sick man to the Mirlinda of crime, because he is worried about becoming a pentito. How can you admire a man whose enterprise has taken hostages. He has functioned like a criminal organization led by Ergys Agasi," said Berisha.
Further, the opposition leader continued with other accusations, stating: Epstein is nothing like Ergys Agasi is for Albania. Ergys Agasi is the biggest black hole imaginable, because every Albanian citizen is controlled.
In conclusion, Berisha called on Prime Minister Rama to resign, accusing him of direct responsibility for the government's actions.
"Instead of resigning, he does everything. Even the bullets on the demonstrators are on his orders. I tell Edi Rama to resign because there is no force in the world that can stop us without removing you. You are a hated enemy of Albanians with what you are doing ," Berisha said.
