Prime Minister Edi Rama is paying an official visit to Athens, where he also met with his counterpart Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
Prime Minister Rama will pay a working visit to Greece, at the invitation of the Delphi Economic Forum (April 21-23), a high-level international platform that annually brings together political leaders, business representatives, academics and experts from around the world.
The forum will discuss key global challenges, foster international dialogue, exchange ideas, and contribute to the design of policies that promote sustainable development and regional and global cooperation.
During the Forum, a Memorandum of Understanding between the Albanian Investment Corporation (AIC) and the Hellenic Corporation of Assets and Participations SA will be signed in a special ceremony.
Rama himself reacted to the meeting through a post on social media.
"Athens - With the Prime Minister of Greece, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, we share a special friendship forged on the shared path of ambition to modernize our countries and elevate Albanian-Greek relations to a new level.
"Along this path, not only the best moments, but also the most difficult ones have always been characterized by respectful and open communication, while we are working to finally overcome all outstanding issues between the two states, to emerge from this year with a new strategic partnership agreement," Rama writes.
