Edi Rama seems to have started to pay his first respects to former SP MPs who failed to obtain a parliamentary mandate on May 11.
Perhaps the first to benefit from the Prime Minister's favors is Florenc Spaho, the former socialist MP for Elbasan.
The latter has taken on the role of Director of the 'Mother Teresa' University Hospital Center, the largest in the country, replacing Donjeta Bali. The latter was appointed as director at the end of May, and was in office for only two months.
Reports indicate that Bali has resigned, while his replacement has been waiting 'behind the door' to take over the position.
Spaho, a doctor by profession and former member of the Parliamentary Health Committee, is among the first former socialist legislators to have taken office, even before Edi Rama's fourth term in office began.
