Prime Minister Edi Rama held a meeting with TikTok's Head of Government Relations & Public Policy for Europe.
He said he discussed the concerns that led to the decision to close the "Tik Tok" platform.
Rama left open the possibility of reopening Tik Tok, but according to him, at a reasonable time.
"With Christine Grahn, TikTok's Head of Government Relations & Public Policy for Europe, we raised the concerns that led us to the decision to temporarily close access to the platform from Albania, as well as listened to possible ways for the company to address them. A completely open and constructive discussion, where we set several milestones for cooperation in the coming weeks and months, to ensure the reopening of TikTok at the most reasonable time, but of course with all the necessary guarantees, in the absence of which we are forced to close access to the platform soon," said Rama.
