Prime Minister Edi Rama, at the opening of the Socialist Party's electoral campaign, says that May 11 is a dividing point between two paths: towards the European Union or returning to the pit.
Rama said that only in the EU is the invincibility of justice reform guaranteed, saying that it cannot be left to the hands of any attempt by the swamp.
"The Albanian people cannot leave equality before the law in the hands of governments, but must take it into their own hands. They must defend it, starting from May 11. The choice is not between how many parties, but between Albania 2030 in the EU and Albania straight into the pit again. With us, or with the magnificent swamp and the flying carpet sellers of the small swamp bazaar around it, which also have all sorts of names, no it can't be done, no it can't be done, no together not apart. Only Albania 2030 in the EU definitively and irrevocably secures the foundation of equality before the law that the Socialist Party had the nerve to lay, and until we bring Mrs. Albania into the great, main hall of the EU, only Albanians united with me and you can defend the new justice from any attempt by the swamp. We can close the negotiations with the EU within 2 years," said Rama.
