Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha today declared to the media that the former head of the Cadastre, Artan Lame, stole 13,000 property titles from this institution.
He said that Lame together with his "thieves" has destroyed 13 thousand titles with the claim that there were "irregularities".
Berisha added that Lame will account for every title he has stolen in the digital register of the Cadastre because, according to him, fortunately there is an archive for them.
"Edi Rama and the laros used the argument against me about the change of institutions for the return of properties. In this case, I add that it was this model that reached the digitization of the Cadastre. A process which, after certification by the World Bank, the latter recommended for other countries as well.
In this digital Cadastre, Artan Lame and his thieves have destroyed 13 thousand property titles with the claim that there were irregularities. Artan Lame will give an account for every title he has stolen in the digital register because he has an archive, thankfully," he said.
