DP starts searching for "lost" ballots, no word on recounting votes
The lists of candidates for deputies in the ranks of the DP seem to have been calculated very carefully. Although he was criticized for the names selected, Berisha had something else in mind. He knew he would lose and he pushed the “critical” votes to the open list. Fortunately, he managed to get Jorida Tabaku to go beyond the doctor’s expectations and get the mandate.
But many other names were left out, including Ilir Alimehmeti, Myzlim Murrizi, etc. Although Berisha expressed regret that they did not succeed, in fact, they were stabbed in the back for the second time.
Ilir Alimehmeti, Mimoza Hajdarmataj, Lisandër Hoxha and Aulon Kalaja requested a recount of votes in Tirana and Durrës, but their requests were rejected on the grounds that the law does not allow candidates to complain, but only the coalition or the DP as the leader of the coalition. The DP itself has not made any request for a recount of votes and betrayed the candidates.
But it seems like Berisha continues to mock them. Today, the DP has addressed another request to the CEC and again it does not have a recount as its object. According to the DP, according to the CEC's own calculations, over 130 thousand ballot papers are missing and an investigation is required to be launched immediately!
So, the DP does not care about the votes of its candidates and it seems clear that Berisha left everyone he left on the open list with the plan to 'burn' them.
But today he has received two strong blows. The first came from his ally, Ilir Meta. Although the DP won the elections in the Municipality of Kavaja, the Freedom Party has requested a recount of votes in several units in this area, claiming that the result was rigged.
On the other hand, Ilir Alimehmeti has decided not to give up. He has now addressed a request to the Electoral College, following all levels of appeal. He is requesting a recount in Tirana, after he himself has stated that he suspects that his votes were stolen within the list. Likewise, Aulon Kalaja himself has said that there was vote trafficking.
So, the suspicions are that Berisha or people close to him have directed the vote to the open list, or have manipulated the counters and now they do not want this to be revealed. All the open list candidates feel betrayed and left in the lurch. / Pamphlet
