The President of Kosovo arrived a little earlier at the Palace of Congresses, where the work of the summit for Ukraine will take place.
Asked by journalists, whether he will ask Zelensky for the recognition of Kosovo, Osmani said that now Ukraine is going through a difficult time and hopes that the recognition of Kosovo will be finalized with their victory in the war with Russia.
She was also asked if there will be a confrontation with the Serbian president, Aleksandër Vucic, Osmani said that there has been and will be in the future.
Will you seek recognition of Kosovo?
It is very important because we will have the opportunity as an ally in values to give all our support to Ukraine as we have done since the first day of the unprovoked Russian aggression. We will do this further. Today at the summit we will talk about concrete steps.
These are bilateral issues, we will make such a request with the full understanding that Ukraine is in a war situation and I am convinced that that moment will come with Ukraine's victory.
