Lawyer Kreshnik Spahiu has stated that the dismissal of Elisa Spiropali as Foreign Minister was the worst change in the Government.
Spahiu made the comments during his speech on the 'Frontline' show on Report TV, where he commented on the changes in the Government, made today by Prime Minister Edi Rama after the meeting of the Socialist Party Parliamentary Group.
Spahiu further said that Spiropal was the strongest political investment in the Socialist Party after Prime Minister Edi Rama. He added that Spiropal was unconsumed and was not burdened with corruption charges.
According to Spahiu, the key factor for Spiropali's removal from this position may have been the clashes within the SP. This is because, according to Spahiu, Spiropali was an opposing voice during meetings in the SP and had supported the German factor during the clashes that, according to him, the latter had with Rama.
" The most wrong dismissal is the dismissal of Elisa Spiropali, who was the strongest investment of the SP after Edi Rama politically and was in the most important position for Albania, because the socialists' contract with the electorate on May 11 was 'Albania in the EU in 2030' and the person who led this contract was Elisa Spiropali and there was no criticism whatsoever. And the dismissal comes as a result of a critical position, of a position or other political discourse that has not been made public, where after meeting with some of the ministers, such as the German Foreign Minister, the German Minister of State, because Germany has had a critical position, opposing the Tirana government, Elisa Spiropali has maintained a pro-internationalist and pro-German stance. And in many internal debates, Spiropali has maintained a critical stance. Second, with the dismissal of Spiropali, the chapter of the Mjaft Movement is closed. Eventually, all 20 ministers and MPs of the Movement were politically eliminated "Enough of G99 that had Erion Velina as its leader.
