Prime Minister Edi Rama has restructured the government cabinet after a meeting of the Socialist Party parliamentary group.
The changes include the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry for Parliamentary Relations, as well as the Ministry of Infrastructure and the Ministry of Defense.
In parallel with these moves, nine ministers continue in office without being affected by the reform.
Petrit Malaj remains at the helm of the Ministry of Finance. Delina Ibrahimaj continues as Minister of Economy and Innovation. Mirela Kumbaro holds the portfolio of Education, Sports and Youth. Evis Sala continues to lead the Ministry of Health and Social Protection.
Blendi Gonxhe remains at the helm of the Ministry of Culture and Sports. Andis Salla continues as Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development. Adea Pirdeni holds the post of Minister of State for Public Administration and Anti-Corruption. Ervin Demo remains Minister of State for Local Government. Majlinda Dhuka continues as Minister of State and Chief Negotiator for the European Union.
