"Like Enver Hoxha and Maduro", Berisha: Rama has spent 23 million euros on charter flights in 2 years

Democratic Party leader Sali Berisha has accused Prime Minister Edi Rama of spending 23 million euros in two years on charter flights alone.

In a press conference, Berisha stated that this action is a measure that, in essence, undermines the principles of transparency and violates the constitution and fundamental laws of the country.

He cited figures from authoritarian regimes as harsh comparisons: Enver Hoxha, Kim Jong Un, and Nicolás Maduro in Venezuela.

"Rama Duro decides to keep his expenses secret, to turn the expenses he makes with Albanian taxpayers' money into a state secret. This act has precedents in Albania only in the dictator Enver Hoxha, it has parallels in the world only in Maduro and Kim Jong Un. He has spent 23 million euros in 2 years just on charters. An appeal to Albanians to rise up against the flag bearer of theft ," said Berisha.
