The Minister of the Interior, Taulant Balla, is persistent in separating the State Police from crime.
Balla gave a strong warning to all the incriminated officers.
For this he said that they are in contact with Europol and that there will be a final separation of the State Police from crime.
"Sky ESC and EncroChat are not what you know, these applications have had a very high payment, monthly usage rent and so far it turns out that those who have had access have been persons with criminal activity and this standard that we set in the Police The state has to do with a standard that Albania started and other countries that have had this problem are evaluating it to apply it because it is a standard". Be patient, it will be time, we are in contact with Europol and we will continue to deepen this final separation of the State Police from crime", said Balla in an interview for A2 CNN.
Stopping Vetting in the Police, Balla emphasized that he will not fail as it happened in the past, but all high officials will pass through a sieve, with the aim of self-purification of the Police.
"300 senior officials in the State Police, then those in the AMP and the Guard will be strictly vetoed. So no official of the State Police, who is involved in these functions, will be able to remain in office if he does not meet the criteria. It will not fail that it is an important dimension of self-cleaning of the State Police", said Balla.
Beyond his duties as Minister of the Interior, Balla also has a very firm attitude regarding political developments in the parliament, with the opposition, but also beyond it.
Stopping right here, at the chaos recently caused by the opposition, Balla says that everything is done to protect Sali Berisha.
"To set up investigative commissions? Everyone clearly knows that these are not reasons. I am sorry that some members of the opposition have not understood that in a democracy issues are resolved through dialogue, we have sat down, we have resolved, I have not seen any request from the leaders of that part of the opposition to request a meeting with the head of the group of SP, Çuçi, I have not heard that the opposition has not addressed the Constitutional Court. The situation was created when a charge was filed and Non Grata of a part of the opposition was taken as a defendant," said Balla.
