Democratic Party MP Dashnor Sula has commented on SPAK's request for the house arrest of former Prime Minister Sali Berisha.
He stated that this request of SPAK is excessive, referring to the instruction for banning Berisha's communication with people outside the family.
According to him, Berisha is within his personal right to exercise political activity as long as there is no final decision, but it will be difficult for him to lead with the restrictions required of him.
" Although under house arrest, Burimi said that Berisha will continue to remain the head of his supporters and that the only impasse may lie with his representative on the ground.
SPAK's request is excessive, considering that he is not allowed to communicate with people outside the family. Berisha has his personal right to exercise political activity as long as there is no final decision.
I don't know the means that Berisha will use to communicate with the DP. We have to be honest, with the restrictions it is very difficult to run the party from home under arrest.
"SPAK for me is an institution to be appreciated and to be encouraged, but I can have no illusions to say that it has fully fulfilled the task of fighting corruption at the highest levels ," he said in "News 24".
