Today, former Prime Minister Sali Berisha has declared that he will pursue his case in SPAK at every level, even warning that he will take it all the way to the Strasbourg Court.
"I will follow every step because I do not accept that we are in a pre-state society.
We are in a dictatorship, but I will follow all the stages. Now imagine when I go, I suppose, through these Albanian courts, how pleased they will be to reject my request to show vassalage to Edi Rama. But that doesn't impress me.
Strasbourg is different, I will definitely go there. It is the guardian court of the European Convention on Human Rights", said Berisha.
Berisha was also asked about the protests he has warned to be held in front of SPAK, considering the latter as a criminal organization that has replaced the state security investigation.
"At the most appropriate moment, there will be a protest in front of a criminal organization that has replaced the State Security investigation. In front of an organization full of executioners of law and justice", said Berisha.
The Special Court has postponed to tomorrow at 11:00 a.m. the hearing where it will be decided whether or not to tighten the security measure for former Prime Minister Sali Berisha.
According to the information, his lawyers, Genc Gjokutaj and Sokol Mêngjesi, have asked for more time to familiarize themselves with the submissions. They have also requested the exclusion of Irena Gjoka
