Sali Berisha says that regardless of the decision that is expected to be taken tomorrow, the Special Court regarding the security measure against him, he will continue his battle without return until the return of political pluralism in the country.
During his speech at the conference with journalists, the chairman of the Democratic Party, Berisha, says that in every circumstance he has defended the law and the constitution.

Question: As we are 1 day before the decision of the Special Court, the Albanian law allows you to make some requests regarding the "house arrest" measure, namely, it allows you to make a request for special permission to continue working during the day of the session in parliament and the second which is more important allows you to set property guarantee to be free and not under house arrest. Will you use these legal spaces to make these requests to the Special Court?
Berisha: Sali Berisha's position from day 1 until today is only one, the defense of what is called the rule of law, but it does not exist. The protection of the Constitution is absolutely for no personal interest, but for the interest of every citizen who believes that he can enjoy freedom only with the presence of the rule of law. Otherwise it is illusion and unreal.
So in no case and under no circumstances have I interfered in any process and in any decision, but I have only defended the law and the Constitution for every citizen who believes that equality before the law, that the application of the law is the condition of the conditions to guarantee the freedoms of the individual. I do not make any recommendations to my lawyers. If it has to do with my direct attitudes, they will ask me. For others, what concerns the implementation of the law, the legitimacy of judicial proceedings, they have full authority to decide without asking me at all. This is the report.
They practice their profession and should practice that profession in the best, most dignified way they consider. I have no impression of what decision will be made tomorrow or the day after tomorrow. My battle is without return. This is what I have declared and that battle will continue until the complete triumph, the return of political pluralism in my country.
