Analyst Julian Zyla has stated that Prime Minister Edi Rama's statement about SPAK's unilateral actions or inactions are similar to the claims of "Reestablishment" led by former Prime Minister Sali Berisha.
Zyla made his comments on the show "Now with Erla Mëhillin", on Euronews Albania, where he said that SPAK is not ending its work here, so according to him, there may be investigations for high exponents of the SP.
He also said that Berisha was wrong for not appearing at SPAK to comply with the "mandatory appearance" order, as according to him, the former prime minister should have left the decision against him in the hands of the court.
"It is enough to remember that not long ago it was the prime minister who said that SPAK is acting only on one side. If you listened to the prime minister, he had a similar attitude to yours regarding SPAK's inaction on certain issues.
Time has proven that it is not impossible for actions that you say are not happening and you see as a double standard, to happen later. I did not close the doors SPAK today and declare that these are my last actions and I am closing the shutters, but on the contrary.
What I think about the technical aspects of the case is that many of Berisha's defense arguments were somewhat convincing. So as far as their arguments for procedural violations are concerned, they were not bad, except for the fact that they did not serve because the place was not there. Berisha had a very good opportunity to blame the court. To go and present himself...", said Zyla.
