Topalli responds to Balla: I have never met you, in 2021 I ran against the DP because you had captured Basha

Democratic MP Jpefina Topalli has responded to the leader of the Socialist Parliamentary group, Taulant Balla, after the latter's statement that in 2021 they collaborated against Berisha, referring to the party that Topalli founded.

Topalli denied that a meeting took place between her and Balla, while saying that in 2021 she ran against the DP after the Socialists had captured Basha.

"It is public knowledge that in '21 I created a movement. I noticed that at the head of the Democratic Party was someone you controlled, I have never met you in my life, but you met Lulzim Basha secretly.

"So don't mess with me. Time has proven me right and today I am prouder than ever. To tell the truth when others say the opposite," Topalli said, among other things.
