Sali Berisha has warned Prime Minister Edi Rama that he will suffer the fate of former dictator Noriega, who after serving 35 years in prison in the US, was sentenced to life by France and had honored him with the highest order, the Legion of Honor.

It is no wonder that "Ramaduro" will have the fate of Noriega ," Berisha said on A2 CNN.
The Democratic leader stated that Trump declared drug cartels as terrorists and according to him they are already in our country, not just in Mexico and Colombia. Berisha said that the US prosecutor brought the message to Albania to fight these cartels.

Asked about the summit of European leaders that took place in Tirana 5 days after the elections, Berisha said that the summit was a product of lobbying, while the statements of European leaders about Rama's historic victory, according to the democratic leader, were ironic.

It was a heavily lobbied, paid meeting scheduled long before the elections, Rama had even scheduled it for the 12th. We did not interfere. No congratulations that were made have any value for the elections because elections have their own procedure ," he said.
According to Berisha, those internationals who observed the elections stated that crime was present in 5 cities and the state used its resources, while the competition was unequal.
" Those who saw the elections wrote that in 5 cities there was a crime presence and the state participated, used resources, the competition was unequal, cannabis, employment, pensions were used, all for votes. There is a chapter there that I have never read in an OSCE ODIHR report, a report that is dedicated to the media, they publish 90% aligned with the government and the most serious thing, which is the classic sign of a dictatorship, is self-censorship ," he continued.
