Fredi Beleri has sued the CEC in the Administrative Court of Appeal for the decision to revoke his mandate as mayor of Himara in July 2024.
According to you, the CEC's decision is contrary to the law, as he won the mandate in the local elections of May 14, 2023, but did not exercise it for a single day due to his arrest and subsequent conviction.
Sentenced to two years in prison for electoral corruption by the Appeals Court of Kosovo, Chief Commissioner Ilirjan Celibashi declared the mandate invalid.
The complaint requires:

Annulment of Decision No. 69, dated 05.07.2024 on the review of the validity of the mandate of the Mayor of Himara Municipality, Mr. Dhionision (Alfred) Petro Beleri, proposed by the electoral subject "Together We Win" coalition for the elections for local government bodies of May 14, 2023" of the State Election Commissioner and of Decision No. 20, dated 12.09.2024 of the Complaints and Sanctions Commission at the Central Election Commission "On the review of the complaint request No. 9, dated 03.08.2024 filed by the Bashkimi Party for Human Rights and No. 10, dated 04.08.2024 with the complainant Mr. Dhionisios Alfied Beleri. Court costs to the defendant.
