Democratic Party MP Dashnor Sula, who in a last-minute move before the lists of candidates for MP were submitted joined Adriatik Lapaj's coalition, has withdrawn today.
The agreement to run under their logo was reached only after Sula's dissatisfaction with Sali Berisha over his position on the list. It is still unknown what forced the Democratic MP to withdraw from the coalition led by Adriatik Lapaj and Endri Shabani, but it seems that there were technical divergences between them.
Regarding Sula's withdrawal, there has been a reaction from the coalition leader, Adriatik Lapaj.
"It has been a process. There are many who have expressed the desire to be on our lists and with whom we have discussed as citizens, but who have not been finalized for various reasons starting from the Electoral Code formula to the decisions of our structures that are inevitable in the final", said the leader of the coalition, Adriatik Lapaj, to Report TV.
Also, for Report TV, the coalition representative and co-chair of the 'Weaving Initiative', Pano Soko, under whose logo Sula would be represented, says that no agreement has been reached on technical issues, although they had been discussed earlier.
