Former Prime Minister Berisha said that our country is the most tragic experiment of applying the doctrine of George Soros.
During his speech at the forum on the future of Albania, organized by the 'Albanian Policy Center', Berisha said that the change of power dramatically brought Albania to the situation it is in today.
"Dear friends! Albania, the country that had a total of 204 dollars per capita per year, reached 820 dollars in four years.
Hope grew year by year. Back in power in 2005-2013, low taxes again, small government. We got a government of 200 thousand employees, we reduced it to 80 thousand employees.
We opened the competition and Albania passed from a low-income country to the group of high-middle-income countries.
Law enforcement made the country safe. The fight against corruption made Albania the first country in the world to implement a complete digital procurement system and this system was certified by the World Bank and then distributed as a useful system.
I think that again the conservative values, the principles of conservatism, placing in the epicenter the individual, his creative power, his creative genius, gave their great effect.
But the change of power dramatically brought Albania to the situation it is in today. A situation that reminds us of Ronald Reagan, who wrote that one generation is enough for freedom to die.
And in fact today Albania is the most tragic experiment of the doctrine, of the application of the doctrine of George Soros in the most complete way than in any other country" , said Berisha during his speech.
