On May 11, general parliamentary elections will be held, where Edi Rama will aim for a 4th consecutive term as Prime Minister, while Sali Berisha seeks his 3rd return to power in the 35 years of Albanian transition.
While the parties closed their campaign on Friday evening, as provided for in the Electoral Code, today the focus is on the distribution of election materials from the CEC to the CEAZs and then their distribution to the voting centers.
The distribution is continuing towards other voting centers in the municipality's territory, initially with the remote ones, the deep mountain villages, in order for all of them to be equipped in time with the relevant materials such as; ballot papers, boxes, registers and devices for biometric identification, cameras, etc.
As of today, it is reported that the process of distributing election materials from CEAZs to voting centers is continuing.
In Pogradec, it is reported that CEAZ No. 70 is distributing the material base, while it is confirmed that according to the Court's decision, women from Pojska Prison will also vote.
Even in Kukës, the distribution of materials from the CEAZ has begun, initially to the deepest mountain villages, so that they arrive on time.
Likewise, the distribution of election materials is continuing in Vlora and Fier, as in other regions.
Also in Lezha, the process is continuing normally and also in other regions, where so far no problems or incidents or obstacles have been reported.
