This Sunday, the Kosovo Police found a significant amount of weapons and ammunition as well as other war materials in a residence in the small village of Zveçan.
Through an official announcement, the Blues of Kosovo clarify that during the checks in this apartment, they found and confiscated two AK-47 firearms, several magazines, a quantity of ammunition and an electric shock in the ceiling.
Among other things, it is reported that the apartment belongs to a Serbian citizen, who is currently in Serbia, while investigations have been launched for the full disclosure of this event.
"The Kosovo Police, on 21.04.2024 around 10:30 a.m., as a result of its engagements, received information that in small Zvecan, a house is suspected of having illegal weapons.
According to the official duty, the guardian prosecutor was notified, with the authorization of which the police officers, according to the established procedures, carried out a control operation of a house, in the ceiling of which two AK-47 firearms, several magazines, a quantity of ammunition and a stun gun.
The Kosovo Police has information regarding the suspected Serbian male person who owns the residential house, who is suspected to be in Serbia.
It is worth noting that this case is not related to the voting process, for or against the removal from office of the Mayors of the Municipalities of North Mitrovica, Zubin Potok, Leposaviq and Zveçan", the Kosovo police announced.
