
The Embassy of Great Britain in Kosovo has strongly condemned the attack on the Kosovo police in Banjské in Zveçan, where the policeman Afrim Bunjaku was killed.
Through a reaction on the Twitter social network, the Embassy has called for calm and a peaceful solution to the situation.
"Great Britain condemns the violent attack on the Kosovo Police in Banjska/Banjska in the early hours of this morning. Our deepest condolences go to the family and colleagues of the Kosovo policeman Afrim Bunjaku, killed in the line of duty. We wish the officers injured in the attack a speedy recovery. We call for calm and for a peaceful solution to the ongoing situation in Banjska" , says the reaction.
The response also states that the institutions of Kosovo should investigate and identify the perpetrators of this attack.
"The institutions of Kosovo must investigate and identify the perpetrators of this terrible attack, so that they can be brought to justice in accordance with the law. We welcome the close coordination of the Kosovo Police, as a first responder, with EULEX and KFOR", announces the British Embassy in Kosovo.
