The Deputy Director of the Kosovo Police, Fehmi Hoti, during the joint conference with the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, was asked if the attack in which the policeman was killed in the north could have been carried out by the Russian mercenary group Wagner.

According to him, all possibilities have been discussed and dealt with since there was information about the presence of these persons, but so far Hoti said there is no concrete and confirmed one.

"Regarding the Wagner group, we had information even earlier, we had information that individuals of the Wagner group are moving or may move, or may attack. All have been addressed. But so far we do not have anything argued, proven. You know the courts require everything documented. That's why we treated it as information and we are treating it," said the deputy director of the Kosovo Police, Fehmi Hoti.

Meanwhile, the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, said that in the village of Banjské in Zveçan, where a policeman was killed, there are at least 30 people. heavily armed.

At the press conference after the meeting of the Security Council of Kosovo, Kurti requested that the attackers be handed over to the security authorities.

"There are at least 30 heavily armed people, professionals, military or police, who are under the siege of our police forces and whom I invite to surrender to our security bodies. They are the ones who are attacking our police, even after killing Afrim Bunjaku and injuring Alban Rashit," Kurti said.
