The EU emissary for the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Miroslav Lajçak, has stated that the implementation of the agreement must be progressed by Serbia and Kosovo, fulfilling their respective obligations step by step in parallel and based on the principle that both sides must do something for get something

Commenting on the meetings he had this week, Lajcak mentioned his trip to Serbia, where he met with the Serbian president, Aleksandar Vucic, and chief negotiator Petkovic.

" Our discussions were a continuation of our efforts to advance the implementation of the Agreement on the Road to Normalization. Similar to our discussions in Kosovo, we also addressed other pressing issues in the EU-facilitated dialogue, emphasizing the need for urgent solutions in preparation for the meeting of chief negotiators. In our discussions, I emphasized that the implementation of the agreement should progress with both parties fulfilling their respective obligations step by step in parallel and based on the principle that both parties must do something to get something.

On Wednesday I had a useful meeting with the leader of the opposition party of Kosovo, PDK, Memli Krasniqi.
