The spokeswoman of the EU, Nabila Masrali, reacted after Kurti's statements that he is ready to write a draft for the association.
Through a message on the X platform, Masrali states that the EU draft represents the modern European way of dealing with the sensitive issue of minorities.
" As we have said many times before, the draft European statute, which was presented to Prime Minister Kurti on October 21 by the emissary Lajcak and the main diplomatic advisers of the French president, the German chancellor and the Italian prime minister, together with the emissary Escobar of the USA- , represents a modern European way of dealing with the sensitive issue of minority protection. The EU and its partners believe that it is the best possible way to address the sensitivities of both sides. We expect both sides to continue discussions on the basis of this draft. Kosovo has had the opportunity in the last 10 years to present a proposal for ASM" , she emphasized.
