The former Deputy Prime Minister of Kosovo, Edita Tahiri, has analyzed the situation in the north of Kosovo, as an expert in international relations. She expressed confidence in the status of Kosovo, saying that it is not in question and that the tensions in the north are not serious.
In an interview for 'Top Story', Tahiri emphasized that Kurti has failed Kosovo with his lack of knowledge in international relations and that he has paid more attention to his power than the state of Kosovo.
"The status of Kosovo is not at all in question, then the International Court has confirmed it, we have fought, blood has been shed for this freedom and for this Kosovo. The current prime minister has made zero contribution to the period of liberation and independence. The status of Kosovo cannot be played easily, the status is closed, Kosovo is independent regardless of what Serbia thinks.
The beginning of political processes also meant the beginning of international relations and negotiations. Kurti failed Kosovo in these negotiations in Brussels, because he reached the basic agreement with the Franco-German plan without mutual recognition. Biden said that this dialogue should focus on mutual recognition, Albini missed the opportunity for this period. He has been torn between his populism and his lack of ability as a citizen. Because when you negotiate with the enemy number one, you have the state and then the power. He used to say that he never goes to dialogue without apologizing to Serbia for the genocide. He forgot all on the way, went to the dialogue without apology and accepted the association. We are dealing with a prime minister who practically used populism, received sympathy and did not keep his promises. He had to reassess the course of work. He has neither experience in negotiations nor knowledge in international relations. We are dealing with a prime minister who was not ready to govern and not even for dialogue. In these things you have to have credibility. The tensions in the north are not serious. They were created out of Kurt's need."says Edita Tahiri./TCH
