Kosovo Assembly Member Adem Hoxha has reportedly been physically attacked by a person. The incident reportedly occurred yesterday, August 1 at 6:10 PM in the village of Zlipotok, Dragash, and Hoxha was attacked along with his wife and their minor daughter.
The Police Spokesperson for the Prizren region, Shaqir Bytyqi, said that at around 18:30, the Police were notified by the QKMF in Dragash that a person had presented himself with bodily injuries, which he had received as a result of a fight.
"The victim, after receiving first aid, was taken to the Prizren Regional Hospital, where, according to the doctor's report, he suffered minor bodily injuries. The patrols of the Dragash Police Station and the investigation unit immediately responded to the case, in close cooperation with regional investigators, due to the sensitivity of the case. According to initial information, the victims are: citizen AH, male, his wife and their minor daughter," Bytyqi emphasized.
He stated that the motive for the incident still remains unclear while the suspect has been arrested and is expected to be questioned.
