
The names with the most votes on the lists have now become clear. With about 5 percent of the votes remaining for the completion of the vote counting process at polling stations from the December 28 parliamentary elections in Kosovo.
The Vetëvendosje Movement has reached over 400 thousand votes as the largest party, and its candidate for prime minister Albin Kurti leads the list with more than 330 thousand votes.
In LVV, the most voted after him are Glauk Konjufca with more than 255 thousand votes, Albulena Haxhiu and Hekuran Murati with more than 134 thousand votes each, and Donika Gërvalla with more than 120 thousand votes.
In the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Bedri Hamza, as chairman and leader of the list, received 146 thousand votes. After him, Arian Tahiri came in second, while the top five are Përparim Gruda, Uran Ismaili and Sala Jashari with over 43 thousand votes.
Lumir Abdixhiku, the LDK candidate for prime minister, received more than 75,000 votes. Behind him, Hykmete Bajrami came in second in the LDK, while Ukë Rugova, Avdullah Hoti and Doarsa Kica-Xhelili rounded out the top five.
In the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, which secured six seats, the most voted candidate was its candidate for prime minister, Ramush Haradinaj, with around 39,000 votes. The top five are completed by Daut Haradinaj, Besnik Tahiri, Bekë Berisha and Agim Çeku.
At the same time, the counting of votes by diplomatic missions has begun.
According to preliminary results, the Vetëvendosje Movement will be able to form a government only in cooperation with non-majority communities. Albin Kurti's party has received 56 seats out of 100 for Albanian parties. PDK will have 23, LDK 15 and AAK 6.
