The American professor, Daniel Serwer, speaking about the opening of the Ibri Bridge, has stated that the support of Kosovo by NATO is important, but adds that the exercise of sovereignty is also important for Kosovo.
"The support of NATO may be important, but so is the exercise of sovereign authority ," Serwer told Express Newspaper.
Regarding the risk of escalation if it is decided to open one side, Serwer has said that Kurti knows that there is a risk and that he should take this into account.
"Of course there is a risk. Kurti's government knows this and should take it into account" , added Serwer for the Express newspaper.
