The cooling in the relations between the prime ministers, Edi Rama and Albin Kurti, does not serve the interest and the Albanian factor. This is what the former ambassador of Montenegro in Kosovo, Ferhat Dinosha, claims.
For KosovaPress, he underlines that this situation should not continue as it is not an appropriate moment to have friction or disagreement.
"It's not time to point the finger at the culprit, the culprit is somewhere, it could be on both sides, but anyway the cold contact and the competitive contact in a way, the contact, which will talk about who knows better how to wait, it is not good when it comes to intra-Albanian contacts", says Dinosha.
Asked how the division of the Albanians would serve the president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, Dinosha says that he does not expect him to benefit much from this situation.
"I think that soon, we will see that the prime ministers, the prime minister of Albania and the prime minister of Kosovo will be ready to sit together and discuss things openly, discuss things considering the interest of Albanians in general... and being aware that still in all matters related to the Albanians in the Balkans, Kosovo is the polar star and that journeys cannot take place, not being oriented with that polar star. So, all of us together must do our best, so that our journeys are correct, orienting ourselves with Kosovo as the polar star, as the number one, national interest of the Albanians in the Balkans", he said .
The head of the Albanian National Union, Ferhat Dinosha, says to KosovaPress that Albanian-wide unity is always necessary, especially in the situation where the Russian military aggression in Ukraine can be used positively.
"To be discussed, to be reviewed with our international friends, and I believe that this will be the best way to avoid eventual incidents and conflicts in Kosovo, or in the Western Balkans", said Dinosha .
The cooling in the relations between the Albanian prime ministers came after the proposal by Rama of the draft statute for the formation of the association of municipalities with a Serbian majority in Kosovo, while Kurti decided not to meet the head of the Albanian government during his Balkan tour.
