Today, the soldiers of the Kosovo Security Force marched in the southern part of Mitrovica. The KSF informs that the conditional tactical marches have taken place, for which the KFOR claims that the KFOR commander and his staff, who are stationed at the KFOR base in Maxhunaj, have been informed.
According to the KSF, within the three-month training plan for the month of June, today they performed a 12-kilometer march in the area of responsibility in the Mitrovica region.
This march started at 09:00 in the morning from the Minatori barracks in the direction of the villages of Bajr, Frashër i Vogël and Frashër i Madh, where 215 KSF soldiers participated.
"The march was carried out starting at 09:00 from the "Minatori" barracks in the direction of the villages of Bajr, Frashër i Vogël and Frashër i Madh. A total of 215 participants participated in this march. The purpose of this march was to maintain and improve the physical readiness of the members of R3K", says the announcement from the FSK.
This has provoked a reaction from the Serbian side, where the commander of the Serbian army forces held an extraordinary media conference today, saying that he has also informed KFOR and requested urgent measures for the protection of the Serbian people.
"According to the facts, I informed the KFOR commander that we require urgent measures for the protection of the Serbian people in Kosovo. This is our request for KFOR and other international organizations", said Milan Mojsilovic.
