
The Basic Prosecutor's Office in Pristina is conducting intensive investigations into the case of the murder of Liridona Ademaj.
So far, four people have been arrested for her murder, including her husband, Naim Murseli, who is suspected of having ordered her execution. Author Granit Plava, Kushtrim Kokalla and Tomë Dodaj are also in custody together with Murseli. Liridona was killed on November 29, in a macabre way on "Dalip Alshiqi" street, in Bërnica, Pristina.
The spokeswoman of this Prosecutor's Office, Laureta Ulaj, told Express that the police and the relevant institutions are working intensively so that this case receives the final epilogue.
Meanwhile, he said that at this stage of the procedure no other details can be given.
"Regarding the questions posed by you, for this criminal case we can inform you that the prosecution in full coordination with the police and the relevant institutions are working intensively so that this case receives the final epilogue. At this stage of the procedure, we cannot give details from the investigations, until another stage", she said.
Meanwhile, it was the chief prosecutor of Pristina, Kujtim Munishi, who declared that the investigations have taken the right direction, but added that they could last up to two years.
