
The details of the tragic accident on the Gjilan-Priština axis where three young people were killed are coming to light.
The vehicle in which the three young men were traveling fell into Lake Badovci. The news has been confirmed by the Police, while the commander of the fire brigade in Pristina, Malë Gashi, has given new details.
He said that they received the first information about the event at 23:49.
Gashi says that when he went to the scene, they saw signs and parts of the car, adding that the vehicle was not seen because it was submerged in the lake.
The firefighter has requested the commitment of the KSF. First, the KSF towed two bodies and then the car with the body of the third victim.
"At 23:49, information was received that a car fell into Lake Badovci and there are people inside. The teams immediately went to the scene, where they saw signs and parts of the car that fell into the lake, however, the car was submerged in water and is still alive. It has been requested to engage KSF as they have a diving team. The fire team together with three fishermen who had a boat found the location of the car and we tried to pull it out of the water, but we did not succeed because it was deep. FSK teams have arrived, (diving team), have started the search, the car and the dead bodies have been found. KSF recovered two lifeless bodies and handed them over to medical services and IML. We also towed the car where there was a dead person ," he said.
Sinjali reports that the three young people aged around 21 who lost their lives in this tragic accident are: Rifat Pacolli, Ardit Gashi and Shpat (whose last name has not yet been confirmed as identification documents have not been found).
