The Deputy Speaker of the Parliament of Montenegro, Boris Pejović, has reacted to the statement of the Speaker of the Parliament of Serbia, Ana Brnabić, who said that Montenegro's recognition of Kosovo was a violation of international law, the United Nations Charter, but also fundamental respect for Serbia.
Pejović called on Brnabić not to deal with Montenegro, at a time when Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić himself has essentially recognized Kosovo.
"Everything you are writing about happened at a time when Marovic, as the deputy leader of the ruling DPS, was influencing state policies and decision-making. He probably obliged you to do this, which is why you are now defending him and reacting in such an uncontrolled manner when, within the framework of respecting the rule of law that you emphasize, his surrender is now also being demanded. After all, Kosovo was essentially recognized by your president, deal with this, while you can leave us alone ," Pejovic wrote in his reaction.
