Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti, in a reaction to the European Union's decision to lift the measures against Kosovo, said that they were unfair.
Through a post on "X", Kurti emphasized that the EU measures that punished Kosovo were orchestrated by Serbia.
“We welcome the EU’s decision to lift the measures imposed on Kosovo. Our government has consistently maintained that these measures were unjust from the beginning, as they sanctioned Kosovo for the discord orchestrated by Serbia, an agenda that also led to numerous major terrorist attacks on our territory ,” Kurti wrote.
He stated that despite the challenges, Kosovo's institutions have maintained their full commitment to the European Union and fulfilling the membership criteria.
" Throughout this period, we have remained fully committed to the European Union, to meeting the criteria for membership and to continuing as committed allies and champions of democratic values ," Kurti stressed.
