President Vjosa Osmani has stated that Serbia is planning new attacks in Kosovo.
At the EU-Western Balkans summit that is taking place on Wednesday in Brussels, Osmani told the media that he will inform all the European leaders today about the information that Kosovo possesses regarding these plans of Serbia.
According to her, these are warnings that should be taken very seriously.
"All the information we have is that Serbia is planning new attacks, I will inform all European leaders today about the information that our security institutions together with our partners have gathered in this regard, because these are alarms which all of us should take very seriously and act as a preventive measure so that Serbia does not destabilize our region anymore" , said Osmani.
Osmani considered that today's Summit is being held at a difficult time for Europe and the whole world because of the conflicts that are happening around the world.
"This summit is happening at a difficult time for Europe and the whole world because of a series of conflicts that are happening all over the world, and of course the attention of all our partners is on all these conflicts. These conflicts that are happening in the world prove how important peace is in the Western Balkans.
Unfortunately Serbia is still led by people who want to take our region back to the 890s, we must not allow such logic to prevail, that is why we are working with our partners in the EU to increase security in Kosovo, and especially the aspect of security around the border with Serbia, and secondly, to remove the measures against Kosovo, it is imperative that there be measures against Serbia for the act of aggression that was committed on September 24. "Unfortunately, so far there has been no action and if it continues without any action or measure against Serbia, it will take this as a kind of incentive ," she said.
